About PoBody's Nerfect Game

What is a Spoonerism?
A spoonerism is a playful twist on language where the initial sounds, consonants, or vowels of two or more words in a phrase are swapped to create a humorous or nonsensical result. For example, "Smart Feller" might become "Fart Smeller"! PoBody's Nerfect takes this fun concept and turns it into a lively game filled with clever and silly spoonerisms that will have you and your friends laughing out loud.

Game Overview:
PoBody's Nerfect is a hilarious party game where players decode jumbled words and phrases—known as PoNos (short for "Spoonerisms"). These are intentionally scrambled phrases that sound amusing when spoken aloud. The objective is to correctly identify the original phrase before the timer runs out and earn the most points!

How to Play

1. In the box, you'll find:

  - 300 PoNo game cards: 100 Easy (Yellow), 100 Medium (Aqua), and 100 Hard (Navy).
 - A 1-minute sand timer.
   - 2 Dice: the colored one as the Card Picker and the Alphabet die as the Question Selector.

Objective of the Game: Decipher the jumbled words and phrases, called PoNos, to rack up the most points!

2. Place each of the three colored card decks on the table with the question side down. Depending on your skill level, you can choose to play with all decks/difficulty levels or choose the level right for you!

3. The youngest player is Player #1. Roll both dice to determine which PoNo deck to pull from and which question to read. The Color die will determine which deck color to pull a card from, and the Letter die will determine which question to read.

4. Flip the timer to start the countdown and draw the top card from the deck that matches the dice color. Player ONE reads the PoNo or jumbled phrase aloud for the other players to guess.

5. For example, if the phrase is ‘A NOSY LITTLE COOK,’ the first player to say ‘A COZY LITTLE NOOK’ collects the card for points.

6. If a player guesses correctly before the timer runs out, they WIN the card. If no one guesses the answer, Player ONE keeps the card.

7. When the game is over, count up your points:

   - Yellow cards are worth 1 point each.
   - Aqua cards are worth 2 points each.
   - Navy cards are worth 3 points each.

8. The player with the most points WINS!
